The Hollywood Strangler is...PINNED DOWN

He debuted in his first official match at Inspire Pro's Clash at the Bash 2, teaming up with The Great Depression and The Red Scare all combined called The Hooded Menace.  They were set to take on Sky, DG and Zac Taylor who as a group are called The Orphans, but they split up right before the match, the Taylor's saying they had been adopted.

The Strangler has shown up a few times, attack various wrestlers, focusing mostly on Steve-O-Reno and once, by accident almost, according to him, Thomas Munos. So what is he up to? What is his goal? Does he hate Steve or just want to make a name for himself?



As he is a man of mystery I don't know much about his past so I only know what I was able to get him to answer, So lets get a look at the mad man who goes by The Hollywood Strangler...

What was the toughest thing to give up or sacrifice to be part of the wrestling world?

There have been no sacrifices. I have always done what I do, be it prowling Mulholland Drive, or the inside of a wrestling ring. I prey. But I think I prefer Inspire Pro. Let’s just say they let me get away with what I was born to do, and they call it entertainment. Hollywood’s got nothin’ on Inspire Pro!

Do you think it’s harder than or equally as hard to get to the big leagues of wrestling as it is say Basketball or Football?

There’s no team work in wrestling. No one’s there to carry you. You’ve got to carry yourself. Being worthy of being among the stars is the hardest thing there is to do.

Do you feel that wrestling has more premature or just a surprising number of earlier than expected deaths compared to other sports and does this influence you in any way?

Professional wrestlers are an interesting breed. They’ve got to be movie stars and athletes all rolled into one. It’s a combined lifestyle, and it’s rough. So yes, the mortality rate is up there. For the second part, no comment.

If you had the power to make any gimmick work, no matter how weird or normal it may be, what would you do?

I am who I want to be.

If you could change anything about the indie wrestling industry what would it be? What about TNA/WWE?

More Hollywood Strangler!

Once you retire from being in the ring, do you see yourself walking away fully or would you become a manager or commentary or announcer, keep involved in some way or is it once you can't work in the ring you have no desire to be there?

They will have to drag me from the spotlight kicking and screaming. IT’S GOING TO BE MINE! FOREVER!

Do you handle crowds differently depending on size?

An audience is an audience. The size doesn’t matter.

How do you handle going from a no rules wrestling show to a family first show. Do you change a lot about how you handle things and what you say or do you just try and act the same no matter what the show?

A strangler’s got to strangle, baby! I can’t hold it back!

Was there every a moment when you truly felt you had had enough, that maybe wrestling wasn't for you? Was it a crowd? Just one guy/gal? A losing streak? Too many broken bones?

Never.

Say you were picked up by TNA or WWE and given an over the top gimmick? How would you play it, go through the motions and hope it fails so you can move on to something better or really try to sell and play up the gimmick?

You’re looking at it, lock and stock. You wouldn’t ask Cagney to not be Cagney, or Marylin not to be Marylin. I don’t think they’d make that mistake with the Strangler, kid.

What has been your most exciting experience in the wrestling world so far?

Wrapping that silk rope around Steve’O Reno’s neck and PULLING IT AS HARD AS I COULD! The way his eyes bulged! His choking and gurgling as he began to slip into unconsciousness! IT WAS GLORIOUS! I was only disappointed in that I wasn’t allowed to finish the job. But soon. Oh, soon.

Have you wrestled outside of the USA? If not do you plan to in the future and where? If so what other places?

One day, the whole world will know my name! No stage is too small!

Who are your wrestling Idols?

Ed “Strangler” Lewis.

You have attacked several wrestlers of the last few months, Steve’O Reno, Thomas Munos, and are now teaming with The Great Depression and Red Scare. There seems to be very little rhyme or reason. Care to share anything about your ideas or plans? What is running through your head?

No rhyme or reason? Haven’t you been paying attention? All the answers are there, splayed out for you to see. But there is a much bigger plan at play, and it will move and shake you, buddy boy! You’ll see! Steve’O will see! As for Thomas, that was unfortunate. I actually kind of like the kid. He reminds me of a big, pink Douglas Fairbanks. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. As for The Great Depression – well, let’s just say he’s got untapped potential. He’s a great resource, and I can’t think of anybody better to help me fulfill my agenda than him. He’s dangerous! That’s how things work in Hollywood, too! It’s all who you know!

Why the Hollywood Strangler?

I considered going by The Sunset Boulevard Asphsyxiator, but that doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.

Do you have a name for your finisher?: I’ve decided to let Steve’O name it. When I was STRANGLING him, he kept saying “AAAAGH ACK GACK ACK!” So, I’m going with that!

Chocolate or Vanilla?: NO! I’ve got to watch my figure! The camera adds ten pounds, you know!

Submission or High Flying?: Whatever involves the most strangling.

Cats or Dogs?: The one with the leash.

Beer or Liquor?: I’m a gin man.

Light Side or Dark Side?: Dark.

Favorite Opponent EVER?: Myself.

While that does not shed a lot of light on him, we do open a few doors, but perhaps we should have kept them closed. The name of his finishing move is a bit tough to pronounce but perhaps he or Steve could help you.  He says that his motive and plans are out there for ANYONE to see and figure out.
